What this site collects
Almost nothing. The resort pages, the comparison table and the Shorewise Performance Index are
static files. They set no cookies, run no analytics, and send nothing anywhere while you
read them. You can browse the entire site without giving us anything.
The one exception is the contact form that appears at the bottom of most pages. If you
choose to fill it in, it sends us the name, email address and phone number you type, along
with which page you sent it from, so we know what you were looking at when you asked.
What we do with it
We use it to answer you. That means replying by email or phone about the resorts,
buildings or units you asked about, and following up if a listing matching what you
described comes on the market.
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not trade or share it with other brokerages, lenders, or lead aggregators.
- We do not send bulk marketing to addresses collected here without your asking for it.
Your information is stored in our own systems and is accessible to the licensee named
below and to staff working directly on your inquiry. Keller Williams Innovate South, as the
brokerage, may also have access to transaction records as required by its own policies and by
South Carolina real estate regulation.
Stopping
Email brandonkunasek@kw.com and ask us to delete what we hold about you,
or to stop contacting you, and we will. You do not need to give a reason.
MLS data on this site
The figures throughout this site are derived from closed-sale records of the Coastal
Carolinas Association of Realtors MLS. They are aggregated: what is published is counts,
medians, ranges and percentages across buildings and unit types. No owner name, agent name,
office name, agent-to-agent remark, showing instruction or individual address appears anywhere
on this site, and the underlying MLS exports are never published.
Guest reviews
Ratings and complaint topics shown in the Shorewise Performance Index are read from each resort's
public Google listing. We record only the aggregate rating, the review count and the topic
labels and counts Google itself publishes. No individual review text or reviewer identity is
collected or shown.
Third parties
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files
from Google and Google receives the request. Nothing else on these pages contacts a third
party. The site is served from Amazon Web Services, which keeps standard server logs.
Children
This site is intended for adults considering a real estate purchase. We do not knowingly
collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
